Lux Design Group is well respected fashion importer / wholesaler located in the heart of South Yarra.

We design and develop apparel for many of the major retailers in Australia. Our development services span across Ladies, Men's & Childrenswear garments ( knits and woven )

The other arm of our business is our three in house fashion labels that are selling throughout Australia and NZ.

There is lots of diversity in this position you will have the opportunity to work across a range of product mix.
- Minimum 3- 4 years QA experience.
- Pattern making experience will be highly regarded.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Work well under pressure.
- You ensure that all tight dead-lines are executed.
- You have the care factor of detail in your work.
- You work with time management very effectively.
- Great communication skills with the ability to solve complex issues on the move.
- Work well in a small team environment.
- High level of accuracy.

- Show initiative to drive results

**Key Responsibilities**
- Working closely with off-shore factories with consistent communication & fit comments.
- Full understanding of quality standards.
- Pattern making experience highly regarded.
- Knowledge in production processes and guidelines.
- Ability to solve fit and QC / QA issues, and foresee these issues.
- Grading specs, measuring garments and sending clear fit comments to factories in china and india.
- Preparing garments to specifications.
- Attending fit sessions with the buyers.
- Coordinating fit sessions with the buyers.
- Working closely with the production team ensuring all steps are implemented.
- Advanced understanding of critical path elements.
- Advanced level across Microsoft Excel.
