We are currently in partnership with our client who are a medical technology business looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable professional Inventory Controller.

PERSOLKELLY are in partnership with a leading medical technology company who are seeking an Inventory Controller to be responsible for the provision of all inventory services to support the business.

**About the role**:
This position will provide the opportunity to share previous inventory experience to further enhance the operations of our warehouse department. You will be responsible for controlling and managing the day-to-day movement of all inventory related functions and prepare and plan for support of lifecycle management, inventory health related stocking initiatives i.e. excess, expired or obsolete products. Ensure the optimization of returns processing and scrap management.This role will involve working both with the warehouse and the administration team.

**Key responsibilities include**
- Dealing and managing all inventory matters
- Problem solving
- Inventory replenishment
- Use of Excel (basic formulas and data entry)
- Enable the distribution and movement of inventory.
- Run the process to move stock between warehouses either the Direct Requirements Planning (DRP) or via STO process
- Ownership of the franchise returns management process including liaising with all locations on regular plans for
- Ownership of Scrap management ensuring ANZ meets MAPS controls
- Working closely with the stocking locations to execute Lifecycle management projects & initiatives
- Control movement of product for re-work with 3rd party vendors.
- QA release of finished goods.
- Co-ordinate product allocation and rationing to network with marketing team.
- Identification, prepare and plan of inventory improvement initiatives which drive seamless execution of E&O & scrap reduction activities across all locations.
- Investigate any IDOC issues and resolve. Run monthly analysis of IDOC issues and present findings to finance and Ops.

**Skills and experience**
- Previous experience working in inventory
- Experience with inventory management systems
- Problem solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (basic formulas, functions, data entry and data analysis)
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills
- Leadership skills (ability to provide direction and follow through to ensure tasks are completed)
- Intermediate Excel skills
- SAP Experience or equivalent ERP systems experience
- Business reporting experience
- Excellent time management with good organisational skills
- Can work autonomously but also a team player
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong problem solving skills
- 1-2 years in the supply chain planning or inventory management
