About the Role
The Ambassador will proactively engage with consumers and visitors and will work collaboratively with the Safety Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) and staff to provide a collaborative, non-clinical response to aggression and violence incidents and emergencies to maintain a safe environment. In maintaining a safe environment, the Ambassador will undertake a mix of ward rounding and/or be allocated, at the direction of the Safety CNC, to provide dedicated support to a clinical area or to an individual consumer.
The Ambassador will be required to engage in respectful, non-judgmental, empathic, supportive, people-focused interactions, which will facilitate respectful and positive relationships with consumers, staff and visitors.
