**About the role**

We are excited to announce a pivotal opportunity at Orica for a Manager - APA Grade Control to join our esteemed Digital Solutions team. This position is to be based in Perth.

This role is essential for introducing cutting-edge technology across Orica’s AusPac and Asia regions. As part of a high-profile team, you will be involved in an exciting program aimed at expanding and differentiating Orica’s capabilities with market-leading technologies.

**What you will be doing**
- Managing customer engagement from initial technology demonstrations through to implementations and ongoing support.
- Identifying and implementing systems, processes, and procedures for the scalable release of new solutions to Orica’s markets across the AusPac and Asia regions.
- Identifying, managing, supporting, and gathering feedback from early adopters when deploying mature and novel grade control technologies.
- Reporting and communicating business status to group stakeholders.
- Providing input into the product development roadmap, support models, and emerging technologies.
- Product stewardship including customer support tickets.
- Developing and implementing strategies to increase customer uptake of grade control technologies, working closely with the Product and Marketing teams.
- Supporting regional marketing initiatives including representation at industry conferences and technology roadshows.

**What you will bring**
- Experience in production geology and grade control (resource modelling, resource estimation, and reconciliation) in multiple open pit hard rock mining environments.
- Prior experience using Orica’s OREPro 3D technology.
- Project management and sales process experience.
- Customer relationship management experience.
- Technical writing and presentation skills.
- Office and field-based training and mentoring experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to travel internationally to remote locations, with anticipated travel being 25-50% depending on the opportunity pipeline.
- Solid understanding of blasting and its implications for production geology grade control metrics.
- Experience with other GMP software (Datamine, Leapfrog, Surpac, etc.).
