This role will be required to work within a multidisciplinary team that includes varying degrees of matrix management and the need to be flexible in working across boundaries and undertaking any task required to deliver an outcome. As such, you must be resilient and resourceful.
This project involves significant customer change transition and the management of a complex network of impacted internal and external stakeholders to be successful.

**Capabilities and Experience**:
Oversee the IT governance of key vendors to ensure alignment with governance processes
Lead the recovery of unplanned system events across the supported systems.
Mitigate against technical risks, issues and proposed change events to the system to reduce the likelihood of encountering unplanned outages.
Work with internal and external teams to assess, verify and endorse technical solutions put forward by the supplier against proposed solution architecture or engineering standards and data items.
Lead the provision of technical input into the development and prioritisation of system projects in conjunction with internal and external stakeholder's positive customer and business outcomes
Strong communication, influencing and negotiation skills

**Leadership and Team Skills**:
The IT Operations Manager will lead a team of 4 covering areas of responsibility including:
Subject matter expertise for IT systems
Outcome-oriented leadership and motivational skills
Oversee the performance of software across devices and systems, both cloud-based and on premises
Provide effective system monitoring in conjunction with associated vendors and agreed SLAs / KPIs
Manage all aspects of the implemented core systems architecture, design and delivery; and drive maturity across operations
Assess risks and manage system, software and technology changes in production environments
