Melbourne City Centre, Australia Level Crossing Removal Project Full time

About the role
In this role you will report to the Director, Program Improvement and provide professional leadership to coordinate, develop and implement significant business and program improvement initiatives designed to drive efficiencies and enhance processes. Your focus will be across the entire Level Crossing Removal Project (LXRP) organisation and will involve collaboration with multiple business units.
Working with the Continuous Improvement Control Group and Continuous Improvement Forum comprising members across all business units of the organisation (at all levels of seniority). You will be reviewing improvement initiatives and offering support and guidance to LXRP teams in progressing their initiatives while considering potential impacts at an organisational level. You'll additionally work closely with LXRP business units to assist in roll out of new improvement initiatives. This is an evolving role and a genuine opportunity for you to shape the future state.
This is a three (3) year fixed term position, paying a salary between $173,134 and $235,465 plus superannuation and leave loading. Additional benefits applicable to Victorian Public Service employees also apply. People that enjoy working from both the office and from home have the option to access our hybrid working arrangements.
About you
You will be a proven facilitator with the ability to coach and direct functional teams. Your excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, will also be essential to your success in this role. Collaboration is one of our core attributes therefore you will be comfortable working across functional teams and sharing knowledge in a matrix structured organisation.
