**We are**seeking compassionate **for full time permanent Community Support Workers** to provide high-quality care to disabled and aged clients in their own homes. You’ll enjoy a flexible schedule while ensuring availability for both pre-scheduled and short notice shifts.

**Your duties will include**:

- interviewing clients and assessing the nature and extent of difficulties
- monitoring and reporting on the progress of clients
- supporting families and providing education and care for children and disabled persons in adult service units, group housing and government institutions
- liaise with community groups, welfare agencies, government and business regarding community issues
- assess community needs and resources for health, welfare, housing, employment and training
- promote awareness of available resources, facilities and resources to the local community
- encourage connections and networking within the community
- encourage people to take leadership of community initiatives
- work with community groups to develop and implement long-term plans
- set up and maintain local community projects and report on their progress.

**What You’ll Need**:
To be successful in this role, you must meet the following essential requirements:

- Diploma level studies in Community Services or similar
- 12 months or more of work experience in the similar field
- QLD Driver’s License & reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Up-to-date vaccinations (2024 Flu & 3 doses of COVID-19)
- NDIS Clearance, WWC Clearance & National Police Check
- Valid CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)

Right to work in Australia & two clinical references

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (required)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
