**What you'll do
Performance CoE Lead is to ensure the performance testing team is following the highest standards and practices of performance testing engineering. PT Lead will have to establish relationships with the various teams involved in the software development cycle, ensuring requirements and technical specs are delivered and understood by the team. PT lead will act as a mentor, tests and scripts design, execution planning, environment management and reporting, while ensuring the team maintains the highest standards expected. PT lead is to continuously improve test delivery, test approach and quality of relevant deliveries.
- Manage the platforms utilised within the organisation for throughput, response times with load, stress, volume performance categories.
- Define and report on the performance of quarterly objectives and key results in the Quarterly Delivery Cycle
- Maintains an awareness of technology advancements and performance testing best practices
- Ensure that all services are fully integrated with the strategic goals and objectives of Digital Technology, WooliesX and The Woolworths Group
- Work with senior stakeholders to evolve our platforms and services by suggesting improvements. Work with senior stakeholders to understand the current and future demands from the business and to inform the strategic roadmap

**What you'll bring
- Strong programming fundamentals
- Demonstrable experience in component, Integration, system testing and API Automation frameworks
- Strong MS SQL Server along with experience working with NoSQL Databases
- Good knowledge of performance testing tools, both enterprise and open source tools along with experience across various performance testing methodologies and environments
- Experience with cloud technologies
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Appinsight, AppDynamics or Dynatrace Experience with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, DevOps, automation and microservice architectures
