Our large NSW State Government client serves the community by leading the provision of world-class education and training, connecting all stages from early childhood to tertiary courses and qualifications.

**About the Role**
They are currently seeking an experienced Contact Centre Officer to join their team in Parramatta with the flexibility to work a few days remotely from home. This is a part time opportunity working roughly 21hours per week. This is an estimated 4-month temporary assignment, with a potential to extend.

Working within the Statistics and Evaluation Business Unit, you will be responsible for collecting data for nationally significant censuses, surveys and statistics to achieve organisational goals

In this rewarding role, you will be undertaking the following duties:

- Provide high level, professional customer service
- Gather and collate data and information from a variety of sources
- Ensure accuracy, cleaning and validity of data
- Generate reports on enrolments, attendance and characteristics
- Provide helpdesk service to customers for the completion and submission of census and survey forms
- Capture, process and lodge customer information into the database
- Records and database management, ensuring high integrity, accuracy and confidentiality
- Prepare documentation including publications, briefings and submissions
- Ensure compliance with best practice and legislative requirements

**About You**
To be successful in this great assignment you will have the following:

- Demonstrated experience working within a high-volume call centre environment
- Professional, Resilient and confident with a customer service delivery focus
- Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written
- Solid analytical, decision making, conflict resolution and problem solving skills
- Superior organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting deadlines
- High attention to detail
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office suite especially Excel
- Reliable remote internet access with the ability to work remotely from home
- Valid Working With Children’s Check and undergo a National Police Check
- Fully COVID vaccinated or medically exempt
- Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
