**Veterinary Insurance Advisor**
We have a 5-month contract vacancy for a Pet Underwriting Advisor available within our Insurance Product & Pricing division located at Eight Mile Plains. The Product and Pricing division aims to design and deliver general insurance products that are innovative and cost-effective in satisfying our customers' needs and our stakeholders’ requirements.
As a Pet Underwriting Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for Underwriting referrals and approvals. You will use your knowledge of veterinary terminology coupled with your communication & interpersonal skills to perform day to day functions within the Manual Underwriting Team.
Full-Time and Part-Time hours can be considered.
**About you;**
- Excellent knowledge of veterinary terminology and/or pet insurance product
- Veterinarian or veterinary nurse qualification and experience is desirable
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem solving, negotiation and decision-making skills
- Enjoy working in a busy environment and as part of team to meet team goals
- Self-motivated and resilient with sound business judgement and a strong customer-focus
