**About Us**:
We are a growing Asian food importer and distributor located in Archerfield, QLD. We are currently seeking an experienced Leading Hand to join our warehouse to work in a variety and autonomy in a busy and often demanding work environment.

**Accountabilities & Responsibilities**:

- Train and orient new staff as instructed by manager
- Check prepared orders against picking slips and ensure the right products are prepared for deliveries
- Assemble and dispatch orders in a responsible and professional manner within a required turnaround time
- Load and unload vehicle and container when required
- Complete orders by selecting goods from shelves and checking them off appropriate lists
- Receive goods by checking goods carefully against delivery dockets
- Document and report any damages and/or discrepancies in goods to the Warehouse Manager
- Catalogue or label items with storage details
- Handle returned and damaged goods as per company’s policy
- Operate forklift machinery according to the company’s safe operations guidelines
- Maintain allocated forklift and other Company’s assets in your care
- Housekeep the storage areas as scheduled
- Adhere to rules and regulations in the company’s WHS policy
- Pick and pack frozen good orders
- Housekeep the freezer area
- Perform other duties which may fall outside of your normal duties when required or if instructed by the Warehouse Manager and Supervisor
- Stock take or cycle count duties as required
- Provide some peer training as well as set an example for all staff and colleagues
- Ensure high level pick & pack accuracy rate with attention to detail and minimising pick errors.
- Other relevant duties assigned by your Manager/Supervisor

**Skills Required**:

- 1-2 years in a similar position
- Valid Fork Lift license
- Physical fitness with ability to perform medium-heavy physical work
- Must be a team player
- Customer focus
- Basic literacy and numerical skills
- Good organisational and time management skills
