**BMH Electrics** exists to maintain, install and assess electrical assets and equipment for a wide range of customers including land developers, power utilities, mining, display technologies and advertising as well as the domestic market.**

**About You**

We are looking for an experienced bookkeeper who is willing to enter into a rapidly growing company and be a part of a motivated and energetic team. You will be able to bring innovation and fresh thinking to make an important contribution in the account keeping and financial decisions made by the management team.

**About the Role**

As Bookkeeper, you will undertake various duties to ensure the smooth operation of all financial obligations across **BMH Electrics Pty Ltd**. Working with the management team, your aim is to maintain accurate accounts and reports to assist the management team in making financial business decisions. As Bookkeeper, you will provide support to the management team, you will be required to have strong organisational, time management and communication skills, and be capable of handling many tasks at once.

**Majors Tasks**
- ATO Reporting - lodging and paying monthly BAS
- Accounts Receivables
- Accounts Payable
- Payroll Processing and Payments
- Xero Processing - bank feed allocations, BAS journal entries
- Superannuation Payments
- Monthly Financial Reports
- Lodge and Pay Monthly Payroll Tax
- Lodge and Pay Quarterly Long Service Leave (MyLeave)
- Update Rolling Budget and Cashflow Forecast
- Apprenticeship and Traineeship Wage Subsidy Claims
- Complete Daily Personal Timesheets

**Essential Criteria**
- Minimum 2 years experience working in a Bookkeeper role or similar
- Friendly, professional and well presented
- Advanced interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Commercially astute with a positive attitude and willingness to perform a variety of duties
- Attention to detail with solid organisational skills and capabilities in terms of prioritising work and meeting deadlines
- Works well autonomously, has strong initiative coupled with the ability to work without supervision and take initiative
- Current Police Clearance.

**Desirable Criteria**
- Experience with Xero accounting software
- Excellent computer skills, including a high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge with FieldInsight
- Experience within the trades and construction industry.
