**The Role**
Strategy, Policy, and Industry Group is seeking a number of Strategic Analysts to contribute to the Department of Defence’s key policy and national security functions to protect and further Australia’s national interests.

Your role would be to lead a team that strengthens Australia’s national security and economic resilience by using your analytical skills to inform military and dual-use export decisions, Defence inputs to Foreign Investment decisions, or other strategically-important decisions within regulatory frameworks.

No two days would be the same - helping to conduct meetings to support and influence stakeholders, briefing Defence’s Senior Leadership, consulting with other government agencies, and contributing to corporate transformational change.
