The Role

We are looking for an experienced digital marketer commencing 1 February to join our ambitious marketing team in SBS On Demand to work on a range of exciting activities across different channels and platforms. Reporting into the Marketing Lead, you will work in a cross-functional team to support the implementation of always-on performance marketing to attract new viewers and retain existing ones.

The role will proactively:

- Demonstrate a strong audience and data-led understanding of strategic marketing planning so you can define, brief, lead and optimise effective digital initiatives'¯
- Lead relationship with programmatic media agency, including driving briefing sessions, interrogation of responses and ongoing optimisations.'¯'¯
- Collaborate with internal and external teams (including but not limited to, programmatic and publisher agencies) to create and implement best-in-class digital and social content-driven campaigns including the assessment of technical and social requirements and scope, devising KPIs, media planning and content suggestion and inspiration.'¯
- Participate in creative ideation sessions to ensure best in class digital and social concepts.
- Plan and execute always-on performance marketing including audience targeting, creative briefing, copywriting, ongoing scheduling, monitoring and optimisation of content.'¯
- Be audience obsessed and understand the digital behaviour of audiences in order to adapt campaigns to their changing needs.
- Trial new platforms and test and learn opportunities to drive efficiencies and stronger results, sharing learnings with the team.'¯
- Deep-dive into social media and digital analytics to understand performance and provide actionable insights backed by data in post-campaign reports.
- Stay on top of industry changes in digital media and support innovative formats, techniques and products to ensure we are always ahead of the curve.
- Proactively suggest new means of refining the campaign process with strategic recommendations or projects.
- Work alongside our product and curation team to ensure seamless customer journeys for our audiences

About you'¯

You'll be ready for your next big challenge and come equipped with:

- Proven demonstrable experience in digital marketing roles (media experience highly regarded)
- Demonstrated experience using data and audience insights to make informed marketing decisions and communicating the success of these decisions to stakeholders
- Excellent analytics and insights skills and experience, across a range of reporting platforms, including Facebook and Google native, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Tableau or similar.
- Demonstrable ability to set up, monitor, analyse and optimise ad sets across Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ads and other paid platforms.
- Very strong understanding of Martech platforms, and use of 1st/2nd/3rd party data in paid/owned/earned marketing activities.
- Very good knowledge of SEM and SEO principles, including keyword research.
- An analytic mindset that consistently challenges our ways of working and proactively finds new and innovative ways to deliver on our KPIs
- Experience with CRM (valued but not mandatory)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong collaboration skills, and the ability to lead strong interpersonal relationships with genuine intent
