**About the role**

Every one of our team contributes to helping make our members’ world better. As a **Payroll Specialist**, you will be accountable for providing accurate, timely and efficient payroll services to the Australian Retirement Trust (ART) group. This encompasses the provision of complex payroll calculations and transactions, as well as providing support to the broader Payroll team.

In this permanent role, you will be required to provide a responsive and accurate client advisory service on payroll matters, resolve difficult enquires and assist in identifying payroll errors and implementing correct action when required. You will also be responsible for the timely and accurate end to end processing of the fortnightly payroll for ART in line with current Enterprise Agreements, contracts and ART policies and procedures. We’re ideally seeking Payroll Specialists with Oracle E-Business experience, so if you are an experienced Payroll professional with Oracle experience, as well as the ability to learn quickly while maintaining a high level of attention to detail, then we’d love to hear from you

**About you**

If this is the right role for you, your skills and qualifications may include:

- Demonstrated ability and experience in preparation, entry and processing of payroll data
- Current knowledge of ATO and superannuation fund guidelines
- Advanced computing skills and knowledge of financial reporting/payroll packages
- Experience with large ERP systems (e.g. Oracle E-Business)
- Proven ability to quickly learn new information, processes, and procedures
- Demonstrated sound analytics and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and accuracy
- Demonstrated experience in relationship management with an external payroll provider
- High level organisational skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities and conflicting deadlines.
