**The Opportunity**

As a Principal Content Designer, you will be an integral part of Bupa’s customer revolution by driving projects with high strategic value and working on digital content relating to Bupa Health Insurance’s digital experiences.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies and standards that drive content consistency and quality across Bupa Health Insurance digital channels, working with product teams and, key sponsors & stakeholders to see your insights drive features that serve the needs of our users across our products and services.

This role is responsible for the following main areas:
**Content strategy** - Deliver a data-driven content strategy across multiple channels, touchpoints, and audiences.

**User-centred content design** - Carry out user research and testing to inform customer-centric content

**Content modelling system** - Create a content modelling system that can be embedded into, and scale with, Bupa’s design system.

**ContentOps** - Make our content publishing process scalable, efficient, and effective through tooling and improved workflows.

Your objective is to enable all teams to create and deliver efficient and effective content design frameworks, solutions, workflows and governance models, resulting in cohesive user experiences whilst amplifying content’s value and impact at scale across our digital ecosystems.

This role drives the approach to content design and content strategy in a multidisciplinary team that includes UX researchers, product designers, engineers, and other specialisations. Encompassing strategy, operations and mentoring responsibilities, this role requires an inclusive leadership style and industry best practice expertise.

The Principal Content Designer is critical to building a sustainable world-class content design capability.

**About You**

In this role you will have:

- 7+ years working in UX content strategy and/or product content design.
- Tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, writing, journalism, or a similar field.
- At least 2+ years' experience working in Design Systems.
- Experience working on large-scale, systemic content challenges.
- Demonstrated expertise in content design systems, content strategy, content modelling, content planning, information architecture, and UX writing.
- Digital content strategy experiences with proven outcomes.
- API ecosystems (business, content, platform)
- Information Architecture design experience (Card Sorting, Tree-testing, Quantitative Analysis)
- Experience with distributed authoring models, publishing consistent, personalised content at scale, aligned to content creation guidelines and quality standards.
- Strong background in using data and research to optimise content performance.
- A strong team player with sharp attention to detail, a high level of initiative, and strong organisational and time management skills.
- Enterprise CMS Production (Sitecore, Adobe Experience Cloud) experiences.
- Related additional experiences
- Strong knowledge of SEO, accessibility, and UX fundamentals.
- High-level grammar, editing, and copywriting skills.
