**About the role**:
An exciting 6 month contract position to lead the content strategy across our online journeys with a focus on business customers. This position will be responsible for online customer engagement for this category, implementing content strategies that deliver on key business KPIs. You will lead the design and delivery of online material to inform the user of the value of being an Origin customer, with a key focus on conversion and lead generation for our varied business services. You will use different types of content and demand research to develop and execute a content plan that sets Origin apart as an expert in business energy and related topics. You will use data to make prioritisation calls and find opportunities to grow Origin’s customer base and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

**Why this role matters**:

- Use research methodologies to design and implement a content strategy which grows our customer base across the small and medium business sector
- Partner with UX, define a new and scalable information architecture for the Business section of the website
- Build a suite of online content which positions Origin as a leader in the space, and define content pillars for future content creation
- Define the most valuable content types, across different mediums and channels, to drive sales targets and digital lead generation
- Balance strategy with tactical delivery by identifying “low hanging fruit” and delivering quick wins while progressing the higher-order content strategy
- Assist with the delivery of campaigns when called upon, bringing new product or partner offers to market which are optimised for engagement and conversation

- Proven content design and development experience.
- Experience in a UX / CX environment using design-centered thinking.
- Exposure to different content research methodologies to inform content decisions.
- Skills across process and design tools such as; CMS, Asana, Slack, Jira, Confluence, GSuite and Figma.
- Strong communication and relationship management skills.
- Customer advocacy and a pragmatic 'can-do' attitude.

Desirable skills:

- Knowledge of how to personalize and optimise content based on segmentation and data insights highly regarded.
- Experience working closely with legal and compliance team in highly regulated environments
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Wordpress or web page builds highly desirable.
