- The Foundation provides financial support in areas of patient care, including the purchase of life-saving medical equipment, and ensuring we can continue our world-class research, finding cures and improved treatment for many of Australia’s biggest killers, including stroke, cancer and heart disease.

**Your new role**:

- Assist the RMH Foundation team in developing, implementing and delivering a hospital wide fundraising strategy to maximise philanthropic income for RMH priorities
- Establish new and contribute toward existing relationships with philanthropic trusts and foundations, resulting in multiyear commitments
- Coordinate a suite of donor engagement activities including tours, events, public lectures and other bespoke activities
- Produce strong written, video and photographic content to drive fundraising priorities (briefing and producing video content, interviews for leadership appeals, social media content, newsletter stories, etc)
- Provide specialist expertise on donor engagement techniques and approaches to develop long-term relationships with donors, potential donors and other stakeholders
- Provide timely and accurate reporting and effective communications with all donors and stakeholders (donor impact reports, acquittals, etc)

**About you**:

- You have a formal degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- You have experience successfully planning, managing and implementing donor development activities, including income responsibility
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple pojeccts, establish priorities and meet deadlines.
- You are proficient in using Microsoft Office suite
- You are able to handle sensitive, confidential information with discretion and to interact professionally and comfortably with potential donors and volunteers at all levels.
- You have the demonstrated ability to work independently with mínimal supervison as well as collaboratively across teams and departments, maintining effective working relationships within a cross cultural environment
- Proficiency, or ability to learn and use Raiser’s Edge, donor management software, and/or experience in healthcare fundraising would be desireable.
