**About the role**
Origin Energy is looking for an enthusiastic Program Delivery Manager to power our cutting-edge renewable energy projects This is your chance to make a real difference by shaping the future of clean energy solutions for businesses across the country.
As a Program Delivery Manager at Origin, you'll oversee multiple large-scale renewable energy projects, from solar and battery systems to power factor correction and more. You’ll channel the activity of an energetic project delivery team, collaborating with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external vendors to deliver high-quality projects on time, within budget, and above expectations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Plan, execute, and complete diverse renewable energy projects, ensuring safety, budget, and quality standards are met.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, internal teams, regulatory authorities, and external partners.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation, working closely with the Sales team to maximize project value.
- Manage a program budget ensuring cost-effective project delivery and exploring opportunities for cost savings.
- Implement quality control measures, ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and customer expectations.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring smooth project delivery from start to finish.
**What will you bring?**
You will be passionate about renewables with demonstrated experience managing construction projects in a regulated environment, with a proven track record of safe, on-time, and on-budget delivery. You will also have strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively navigate complex stakeholder and environments. You will also be able to demonstrate:
- A background in electrical or mechanical engineering, project management, or similar fields.
- Familiarity with renewable energy technologies, industry trends, and project management methodologies.
- Ability to understand and interpret complex contracts and drive financial management, budgeting and cost controls principles.
- Assured coordinating with external stakeholders such as suppliers, councils, network providers etc.
Desirable:
- Experience in the solar PV, energy, building, engineering or services industries
- Interacting with regulatory bodies for planning approvals
- Experience with software solutions such as Salesforce, Procore and SAP
