About the Role
The key purpose is leading the Engagement team and driving the development and delivery of AGL Value Comms and Surprise and Delight activity with a focus on continuous improvement.
The Engagement team collaborates closely with the Loyalty and Marketing teams to drive engagement for key Loyalty initiatives, in help support wider customer lifetime value objectives. The Engagement team brings these activities to life through various marketing executions. The purpose is the ensure these marketing executions align with AGL’s wider marketing operations to deliver the most effective and engaging content for customers and AGL.
What you’ll be doing:
- Working collaboratively across the business to develop an Engagement plan that optimizes value to AGL and enhances the customer relationship.- Develop Engagement strategy across key communication channels to provide a clear purpose and objectives for Value Communications and other relevant content to support AGL’s wider loyalty objectives.- Develop and manage monthly Engagement and Surprise and Delight reporting to continuously optimize the effectiveness of engagement and loyalty initiatives.- Co-ordinate the Engagement team and broader stakeholders to deliver on the Engagement plan via preparation of briefing documents, identification of target segments, content development and prioritization.- Manage regular agency briefings to ensure content development is on brand and on message while driving high levels of engagement.- Managing a significant budget for Engagement creative development and Surprise and Delight benefits for customers to ensure a positive return on investment.- Work collaboratively with data and personalization teams ensure relevant targeting of content to priority segments.About You
What you’ll bring to the table:
- Significant experience in creating and Engagement strategies across large and complex organizations.- Strong experience in creative execution and delivery of outstanding marketing programs and activities at scale.- Experience in leading teams and building contemporary best practice capabilities.- Effective self-management skills: ability to lead and build virtual teams, able to motivate, encourage, delegate and achieve objectives through people.- The ability to think strategically and conceptualize and execute targeted engagement plans.- Strong understanding of personalization and marketing automation technology and execution including data and analytics.- Strong relationship building and stakeholder management experience, including with senior management.- Experience with Adobe Campaign preferable but not essential.
