**The Role**

This role will see you delivering high quality communication, support and information for renter relocations and allocations of properties to customers on the Victorian Housing Register for Community Housing Limited. You will ensure relevant legislation, regulations, organisational policies, and procedures are followed while aiming to allocate appropriate, affordable, and secure housing to people of low to very low incomes who have the greatest need.

You will be responsible for performing administrative tasks including reporting, addressing complaints, adhering to compliance requirements, and maintaining accurate data in all required systems.

**About You**

To be successful for this role, you will have a genuine passion for wanting to support vulnerable people in our community.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
- Solid understanding of the Victorian Residential Tenancies Act.
- Relevant skills and experience in working sensitively with a diverse customer group with complex needs, including those who are in housing crisis.
- Confidence in liaising with various stakeholders including vulnerable people.
- Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and a caring and empathetic nature.
- Previous experience working on MS Office programs.
- A current driver’s licence.

**Desirable**:

- Previous experience working in the social/community housing industry.

Please note that satisfactory police check is required for all staff and those with client related responsibilities are required to provide a NDIS and Working with Children Check (WWCC).
