**ABOUT THE ROLE**

This role is a **Permanent weekday day shift position based **at Port Kembla Coal Terminal **in the coastal city of Wollongong, NSW, approximately 75 kilometres southwest of Sydney.

As the **Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor**, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the performance of the PKCT mechanical trade workgroup, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective practices.

**Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to**:

- Supervise trades, ensuring safe execution of work plans using our CMMS
- Manage work interactions, isolations, and permit authorisation for site personnel and contractors
- Address work interruptions by organising and overseeing repairs according to company procedures
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement by identifying and implementing enhancements

**ABOUT YOU**
- Supervisory experience gained in medium to heavy industry
- Ability to foster a safety-focused culture through mentoring, coaching, and promoting ongoing development
- Technically capable to support the team and best utilise their skills
- Knowledgeable in maintenance of conveying systems, hydraulics, pumps, gearboxes, and hoisting systems
- Skilled in building and maintaining positive relationships with diverse stakeholders

Qualifications for this position are:

- Mechanical Trade Certificate or Tertiary qualification
- MSIC or ability to obtain
- Leadership or training qualifications (desirable)
