NEPEAN Conveyors (a division of NEPEAN) provides fully engineered turnkey conveying and materials handling solutions, from concept to commissioning for some of the world's largest mining companies. Established in 1985, it manufactures and markets conveyor components including pulleys, idlers, rapid advance-rapid retreat components and drive-heads, and provides on-site installation, maintenance, and relocation of conveyor installations.

**Our Opportunity**

To support our ongoing growth, NEPEAN Conveyors NSW are currently seeking a Mechanical Draftsperson to join our team. This position is a full-time permanent opportunity, based in our design and manufacturing facility in Unanderra, NSW or closest NEPEAN office.

**Daily duties will typically include**:

- Assist mechanical engineers and engineering technicians in the modelling and detailing of mechanical equipment.
- Prepare general assembly drawings and designs for mechanical engineering work under the direction of senior engineers.
- Creating technical drawings at all levels i.e. Layouts, Arrangements, Assemblies, and details
- Understanding the operation of industry equipment.

**The Right Person**
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within a similar role, ideally in bulk material handling background or heavy industrial/mining industry.
- Tertiary qualifications in related discipline, Drafting, Engineering.
- Showing proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D Inventor software
- Being proficient in Microsoft Office
- Belt Conveyor Design experience.
