**Your new role**
Reporting to management, you will be driven to achieve complex contract and commercial performance capability services within a matrix organisation structure. You will maintain a well-developed understanding of and compliance to relevant and applicable legislative frameworks both domestically and internationally, partnering with your business portfolio in respect of all activities. This position offers WFH flexibility with occasional travel to South Victoria when required.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Contract arrangements, commercial plans / approaches and commercial governance, performance end-to-end in support of current and future Defence Programs
- Act as the customer contact for related matters on contracts
- Provide regular updates on contract management matters and program performance
- Regularly update on all activities, status or critical issues.
- Provide strategic and tactical advice on business development activities.
- Work closely with the team to negotiate terms with customers and suppliers
- Coordinating, administering and reporting on contracts and agreements with aircraft equipment
- Management of reporting including administration of CCPs, APVs and Risk Analysis as required.
- Coordinating, administration and management of contractual agreements
- Occasionally travel to Gippsland in order to support the business
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline
- Relevant commercial experience is essential
- Defence and/ or ASDEFCON
- Contract management experience working with contract development, management and closure
- Experience in the identification of cost drivers and cost analysis under commercial agreements.
- Developing contract terms, conditions, and identifying associated commercial risk
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Ability to prepare and present concise oral and written reports to internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to hold NV1 clearance (Aus citizen)
