In the role of **Database Services Manager,** **_you_** will join the Managed Infrastructure Services team that’s doubling down on **_customer obsession._**

**In this Database Services Manager role, you will**
- Drive the strategic centralisation of NABs database estate towards a modern DBMS platform, with PostgreSQL as the target state
- Bring proven experience in Database DevOps practices and techniques with a talent for automation
- Lead Database platform design as we modernise and centralise the disparate database instances, across multiple DBMS engines
- Lead the self-managed to centralised platform database migration strategy, leveraging automation and migration DevOps / scripts to minimise Asset Owner interaction, effort and change cost
- Cultivate a team culture of innovation with customer experience at its core
- Confident in Executive forums and in exercising business acumen

**We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need**:

- Database DevOps techniques and automation experience
- Prior experience with database replication technology strongly preferred
- Demonstrable database release using schema migrations scripts / tools
- Database IaaS and PaaS deployments
- Expert cloud engineering in combination with infrastructure and configuration as code
- Exceptional and proven people leadership
