Exciting new long term Project/ Delivery opportunity within the Victorian State Government.

**Your new company**

An exciting contract opportunity within the Victorian State Government for a Business Analyst to contribute to a major new Education and Early Learning initiative. The analyst will deliver business system outcomes by using advanced facilitation skills, encouraging collaboration, innovation and a strong focus on process and system adaptation and end-user experience.

**Your new role**
- The role will involve facilitating delivery management processes, including governance and prioritisation with senior business stakeholders.
- The Delivery Manager will lead and oversee the delivery of contractual milestones through multiple development teams, both internal and externally managed by vendors.
- They will ensure that delivery is executed in accordance with the program's governance processes and aligned with the contractual obligations and commercial arrangements.
- The Delivery Manager must possess exceptional software delivery experience and in-depth knowledge and understanding of release management.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Extensive demonstrated experience in Delivery Management for complex IT programs, with multiple concurrent project streams and technology products
- Strong stakeholder management, negotiation and influencing skills, including with senior-level stakeholders
- Experience in multi-stream release management activities such as scheduling, roadmaps, demand management and prioritisation
- Experience in designing processes and system improvements that deliver tangible benefits to end-users and customers
- Strong demonstrated knowledge of the end-to-end Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC) and experience in blending traditional project principles and practices with a tailored Agile development approach to fit large, complex, business-critical projects
- Proven experience in Change Management within an Information Technology environment
- Experience using collaboration and tracking tools, such as Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, etc.
