Horizon Property is seeking a professional property manager to work with our dynamic team.

You will have the opportunity to manage a clean and well-maintained existing portfolio and help grow the rent roll, whilst enjoying the benefits of a great team and office environment.

**About the Role**:
You will oversee a varied portfolio of residential properties.

You will be an integral part of the organisation's growth, development and future success, and will have exposure and influence across the entire management and advisory process.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Negotiate, prepare and enforce leases
- Complete all required paperwork for new tenants
- Ensure the premises are ready for new occupants
- Maintain all statutorily required records
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Enforce terms of rental agreements
- Orient new tenants to the property
- Investigate and resolve resident complaints and concerns in a timely and efficient manner
- Monitor maintenance and repair tasks in a cost-effective and timely way
- Ensure the security of premises and maintain security devices
- Organise incoming and outgoing inspections and prepare inspection reports

**Skills and Qualifications required**:

- Certificate IV in Property Management (Real Estate)
- 2 years of full-time work experience minimum
- Mature, bright hard working individual, excellent communicator, negotiator and dispute mediator
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work to deadlines
- Excellent customer service and organisational skills
- Ability to multi-task with a high level of attention to detail

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Every weekend
- Flexible hours
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Coolangatta QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Project management: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Current Certificate of Registration (Real Estate) (preferred)
- Driver Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
