**Role Details**

The Department for Child Protection is seeking an **Executive Assistant** to join on a full-time term basis and to provide high quality, confidential secretarial and comprehensive administration services to the **Deputy Chief Executive**.

The role is responsible for:

- Ensuring effective utilisation of the Deputy Chief Executive’s time by managing the diary, arranging appointments, considering invitations and preparing responses.
- Preparing agendas, minutes, letters and other correspondence and documentation on behalf of the Deputy Chief Executive.
- Liaising with key stakeholders across the department, the Office of the Minister for Child Protection, other government agencies and organisations.
- Providing support to other staff within the Office of the Chief Executive as necessary.

**About You**

We are looking for a dynamic communicator with a proven ability to take a strong proactive approach by exercising initiative, judgement and creativity.

To be successful in this role you will be required to use your professionalism to provide high quality confidential executive support and manage a high and varied workload.

You will also have high-level interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to a wide range of key internal and external stakeholders.
