**The Role**:
This is an excellent opportunity for a talented Risk and Compliance professional to join a leading Big 4 bank, based in Melbourne's CBD.
- Work within the Australian Retail and Commercial Business unit to conduct quality assurance reviews
- Implement and adopt new systems, operative models and frameworks throughout the 1st, 2nd and 3rd lines of defense
- Monitor the status of project deliverables to ensure tasks are executed and in-line with agreed standards and timeframes
- Liaise with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Develop risk culture across the retail product and assist in embedding this through the business unit
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and create solutions for the Assurance Team
- 5-7 years within a risk and compliance role where you have been heavily involved in developing and managing frameworks
- 1st or 2nd line experience spent at a Financial Services business
- Experience working in a range of different business units, and/or a range of different risk types will be highly regarded
- Strong communication and reporting skills
- An ability to be flexible and adaptable in a fluid environment
