**About the Team**
The **Supply Program Manager - Tactical Wheeled **is part of our Procurement team and you will be responsible for the delivery of systems, product and materials across the breadth of the Tactical Wheeled group and in particular the Land 400 Phase 2 Program.
Reporting to the Senior Manager Procurement the **Supply Program Manager - Tactical Wheeled **will function as an embedded member of the Tactical Wheeled and Land 400-2 Program Management leadership team within the Vehicle Systems Division based at our offices at Redbank (MILVEHCOE).

- **Supply Program Manager - Tactical Wheeled**, you can anticipate some of your day-to-day tasks to include:
- Develop and implement supply strategies across Tactical Wheeled programs
- Establish, monitor, and report progress against procurement schedules and plans
- Work with Program Managers, Production Manager, Engineering and AIC to define the Make / Buy strategy allocated to the Contract Work Breakdown Structure (CWBS) and Production Bill of Materials (PBOM) to ensure engineering and procurement status is accurately defined and reported;
- Work with Program Managers and supporting functions (AIC, Engineering, Quality, Production, Procurement Category Managers) to develop detailed supply overview for each variant PBOM identifying Long Lead Time Items (LLTIs) and common category procurement schedules;
- Lead internal stakeholders of Procurement Categories, subcontracts management in overall strategy for Land400-2 procurement scope and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders of commercial, project management and international procurement commodities.
- Work closely with Category Procurement Managers and Supplier Qualification Manager to develop strategies for utilisation of existing qualified Australian suppliers or develop new Australian Suppliers to suit program objectives;
- Draft and execute approved supplier management plans and MSR artefacts that support program execution;
- Guide and oversee supply chain engagement progress such as:
- Defining supplier deliverable lists,
- Market Analysis and Business Partner engagement strategy,
- RFT/RFQ development, commercial contracting strategy,
- Business Partner shortlist, RFT/RFQ Evaluation,
- Contract award and ongoing supplier management,
- Quality and consistency of deliverables throughout program,
- Definition, collection and reporting of project metrics related to supply chain (technical performance, schedule, costs, dependencies, resources, risks);
- Maintain and develop high quality relationships with the supplier network, the leadership team and staff of RDA, Rheinmetall group partners in Europe, other suppliers and sub-contractors;
- Act as key liaison between RDA and key stakeholders on all significant operational and program execution matters; and
- Fulfil other duties and responsibilities that may be required as determined with your manager from time to time.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role include:
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline;
- Demonstrated supplier management experience;
- Demonstrated experience with an engineering development program deliverables;
- Experience in military, automotive or aerospace system design;
- Experience working on ASDEFCON programs;
- Experience in interpreting project performance specifications;
- Have excellent written English communication skills using engineering terminology;
- Must currently hold or be eligible to gain the NV1 Australian Security Clearance; and
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally if required.
