**How will I help?**

As a Service Owner, Strategy & Planning you will create sustainable competitive advantage by defining the medium-term strategic agenda, manage the quarterly business planning cycles and manage ongoing oversight of all initiative spend and track benefits realisation for the Cash & Transactional Banking (C&TB) Line of Business (LoB).

Key responsibilities include:

- Lead the development of the 2-3-year roadmap for the C&TB LoB strategy. When acting as a squad member themselves, they will contribute strongly to the accomplishment of the squad’s mission whilst role modelling behaviours
- Bring deep strategic thinking, and use of research and analytics
- Conducting competitor and market analyses to identify emerging competitors and their unique propositions
- Identifying partnership opportunities to solve strategic needs
- Determining key customer target segments considering risk appetite, policy, and regulatory obligations
- Managing the quarterly business planning cycles and prioritisation discussions for the LoB
- Overseeing initiative spend and tracking benefits realisation, including facilitating key trade-off decisions for the LoB
- Maintaining the strategic plan and delivery roadmap, including people, process, and technology
- Collaborating across the LoB to ensure the strategic roadmap and objectives are implemented and outcomes are achieved as planned

**What do I need?**
- 5-10 years of strategy or management consulting experience in a tier 1 consulting firm, strategy boutique firm, or industry corporate strategy role.
- Proven experience across a range of the Strategy service portfolio including market and industry dynamics assessments, corporate and portfolio strategy, business unit strategy, customer and segment strategy, capability and operating model strategy, and strategy execution services
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, including the ability to inspire, mentor, coach and develop others
- Excellent leadership, time management facilitation and organisation skills
- Excellent collaboration skills with an ability to work with a wide variety of stakeholders in different parts of the business and at different levels of seniority
- Customer-first mindset and interest in banking, finance, economics, customer experience and digital
- Strong learning orientation with a commitment to listening and learning from colleagues, experimenting with new ideas and approaches, and keeping up-to-date with the latest technical developments in data and analytics
