**About the role**

We have an opportunity for a **Finance Officer** to be part of our Business Services Unit team within the Counter Terrorism and Special Tactics Command. The Finance Officer is responsible for delivering a range of accounting and finance support services and advice on the business unit's financial position and performance. The role of the finance officer is to supervise a team to ensure financial and administrative support is delivered within the business unit.

**Target Question 1**:
Provide examples demonstrating your skills and work experience in Government accounting, in particular accounts payable, accounts receivable, travel, accruals, reconciliation and reporting in a large organisation.

**Target Question 2**:
Using your work experience, demonstrate your ability to work independently, identify complex problems, develop solutions and recommendations and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
