A leading provider of identity issuance software is looking for a junior database administrator / software deployment to join our growing team.
In this newly created role you will work closely with the software development team and project team to install, deploy, and troubleshoot new software installations.

**About the role and what you will do**:

- Install, configure and support databases and web based software.
- Software implementation and upgrades, including testing, deployment and maintenance.
- Software customisation and configuration.
- Software documentation and process documentation.
- Assist with software control and update procedures.
- Fault isolation and troubleshooting.
- Problem solving of a highly complex and technical nature.
- Deliver a high-level of customer satisfaction with attention to detail installing software packages, writing user manuals for customers as needed and refining installation procedures to increase efficiency.

The position has a high degree of independence and autonomy. The person must think laterally and exercise technical problem solving skills to resolve problems of a highly complex and technical nature.

**Core requirements & Experience**:

- Experience in SQL server database administration
- Recognised tertiary qualifications in computing or other relevant discipline or relevant experience.
- Knowledge of relational database structures.
- Sound verbal and written communication skills
- Commitment to providing high quality customer service.

**Other experience that would be beneficial**:

- Amazon Web Services / AWS Cloud hosting services EC2 / S3
- Experience with AWS DynamoDB
- Ability to assist customers with problem solving and to provide support to customers of varying skill levels.
- Demonstrated evidence in designing and delivering relevant training documentations / user guides etc.
- Experience in Photoshop / image editing.

The office is located at St Leonards, 700m walk from the train station.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
