ARCway Careers are are currently seeking an experienced IT Helpdesk Administrator to join an internal IT operations team based in St Leonards.

This role is responsible for providing high-level 1 and level 2 support across all internal IT helpdesk functions, including desktop software and hardware, shared network resources, and user administration.

About the Role

In this position, you will:

  • Provide day-to-day IT support for all internal staff across multiple branches.
  • Administer user accounts and maintain hardware and software asset systems.
  • Manage and maintain IT documentation and knowledge bases.
  • Assist with PC rollouts, computer imaging, and other IT infrastructure functions.
  • Support and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows, Office Suite, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Office 365 environments.
  • Work collaboratively with the IT team while also being able to operate independently.
  • Provide guidance, mentoring, and support to junior IT staff.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Minimum 2 years of IT desktop support experience, including at least 1 year in a face-to-face internal helpdesk environment.
  • Demonstrated experience providing Level 2 IT support in previous roles, showing ability to resolve technical issues efficiently and support end users effectively.
  • Proven experience in computer imaging, Active Directory, and Group Policy Administration - ESSENTIAL
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience supporting medium to large organisations with multiple sites or branches.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows, Office Suite, and Office 365.
  • Previous experience working within a team environment and supporting or mentoring junior staff.
