Join the newly created Direct Business Banking team and be a key part of our Business Banking growth strategy. We are a team of small business specialists dedicated to helping micro-business customers to grow their businesses.

As a **Business Direct Lender,** you are responsible for the retention and growth of our Direct Business portfolio of customers: predominantly managing business customers with lending needs below $500K. Financial analysis is a key part of your role. You will explore leads for new business opportunities and maintain exemplary customer service delivery for the existing portfolio of customers.

**In this role you will get to do**:

- Demonstrate record of customer service and/or sales excellence.
- With your financial analysis skills, you will analyse and interpret financial statements.
- Have a high-level understanding of small business lending products, policies, and regulations.
- Ensure that the customers receive the right solutions to meet their needs, including discharges, Equipment Finance, and business credit cards, providing sound credit decisions for both customers and the Bank.

**What you’ll bring to the role**

To succeed in this role, you will have:

- Business lending experience, financial and risk analysis and assessment of cashflow would be ideal
- Demonstrated ability in sales or and the delivery of exceptional customer experience
- Sound knowledge of the Business Credit Card policy and Equipment Finance processes are preferred
