An exciting opportunity exists as our full-time **Accounts Payable Supervisor **to join our Head Office team in **Broadbeach.**

**More about this role**:
Reporting to and assisting the Manager, Accounts Payable, this role is responsible for the supervision of the AP function within the business. The role will overseeing the accurate processing of vendor invoices by the offshore processing team. In addition to this, you will be accountable for resolving escalated queries from internal and external customers and participating in the preparation of various other Accounts Payable related processes and reports.

**In a nutshell, your main responsibilities are**:

- Arranges and oversees completion of AP processes and procedures
- Supervises both onshore and offshore team members.
- Train, mentor and monitor both teams to ensure all transactional processing and statement reconciliations are performed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Oversee the process of scheduled payment runs
- Suggest improvements in processes to increase effectiveness of the department
- Participates in regular team member performance reviews
- Ensures that Supplier statements are reconciled regularly (large volume vendors)
- Provide regular feedback to AP Manager on team performance and areas to improve
- Participate in month end close, reconciliation of GRNI accounts, ad hoc data analysis
- Ensure that AP records are kept safe and secure to comply with legislation
- Manage supplier relationships and respond to queries and escalated complaints
- Manage data exceptions from Converga to our ERP system JDE.
- Assist with projects, including the implementation of software and provide training and support where needed.

- The ability to prioritise and work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment.
- Possess a very high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work access to sensitive data and customer information
- As you will be working in the Aviation Services industry, you will be required to obtain a clear National Police Check (at our cost) as a part of the screening process.
