Coomera State Special School supports learners across years Prep to Year 12 in the growing area of Coomera. **About the Role**:Multiple vacancies available**:
- 2 x 60 hours per fortnight
- 1 x 50 hours per fortnight
You will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for students, staff, and visitors. You will be an enthusiastic person, who takes initiative & pride in your work. The successful applicant/s will be engaged in single or split shifts. The start and finish times will vary, which could be between 4.00am and 6:00pm. If the successful applicant(s) are engaged in split shift arrangement, a split shift allowance will be paid each day a split shift is worked.
**As the Cleaner you will have responsibility for the following**:
- Cleaning windows, doorknobs, taps, sinks, drinking fountains, lavatory basins, glass doors and cupboards.
- Cleaning and sanitising toilet facilities and sick bay.
- Cleaning and maintaining cleaning equipment.
- Cobweb and mildew control, utilising extendable equipment as necessary.
- Cleaning/hosing of concrete, bitumen, & paved surfaces.
- Dusting including student and office furniture, equipment and fans.
- Floor maintenance including sweeping, vacuuming, buffing & polishing.
- Other appropriate cleaning duties as directed by the Leadership Team.
- Activating and disarming school security systems as required.
- Liaise with Business Manager concerning purchase and/or replacement of cleaning materials.
