Water Planning Specialist for Perth based secondment role
**Your new company**
An industry renowned base metals mining company with multiple sites in WA is requiring a Project Mine Geologist to join their busy team. You would be working at the company's high-grade Nickel underground mine in WA.

**Your new role**
Reporting to the Principal Engineer, the Specialist Engineer will complete / support conceptual assessments and design of hydrology and hydraulic related aspects on a wide variety of mining projects (throughout all design phases) and operations. You will have a demonstrated experience in surface water assessment, including water resource management, flood modelling, storage requirements, flood diversions, pipe crossings, drains, and culverts.. Experience in mine dewatering systems, borefields, and mine site services (process, potable, wastewater systems) would be an advantage. You will require strong project management and collaboration skills with good communication and engagement skills.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Engineering Degree (Civil, Environmental or Mechanical)
- Minimum 5 years experience working in a Water Engineering Role with proven development and delivery of hydraulic and/or hydrology assessments
- Experience working in a team with Hydrogeologists
- Project Management across functional and operational teams
- Exposure across a broad spectrum of business activities and processes
- Microsoft Excel and GIS software - preferably ARCGis or GlobalMapper
