- **From $123,176 + up to 14.5% superannuation + flexible working + other benefits**
**About the role**:
Goals without plans are merely wishes.
In cyber security, threats and attacks don’t end because you hope they will. That’s why you need a plan. A plan that creates commitment, clear direction, action, performance standards and continuity.
As a Specialist in Cyber Security, we’d like you to help us achieve our goals.
**What the role will involve**:
You’re seen as a cyber security SME and the key stakeholder for the cyber security program of work. Using your knowledge and experience in scoping cyber security projects and ensuring quality outcomes are delivered you’ll provide guidance on how to mitigate vulnerabilities and risks.
Your days are interesting, varied and challenging. You’ll work closely with all areas of the business to bring together project requirements to ensure that gaps and weaknesses in cyber security controls are addressed appropriately.
You will be able to analyse vast amounts of complex data from multiple sources and convert these into business requirements to ensure thorough scoping is achieved for each project. You will remain engaged throughout the project lifecycle and be responsible for ensuring quality outcomes are delivered.
You’ll support the Cyber Security Capability Improvement Manager to deliver a broad range of projects to uplift control maturity as well as mitigating risk. Your experience will help you research, scope and deliver solutions that align with the latest cyber security thinking and standards.
**What the role will offer**:
Water Corporation’s cyber plan is already under way, which means you won’t be scratching your head and looking for things to do. The days of mothballing projects and providing justification to a business are long gone.
There’s a stack of interesting projects to deliver, which will evolve and uplift the organisation’s capability and maturity to deal with potential threats and attacks. It’ll also give you plenty of scope to learn and sharpen your skills.
The work will test your grey matter, as it’ll sit across 2m customers and 3,500 employees with an exposure to a full tech stack.
You’ll be joining a supportive and diverse team, who’ll have your back from day one. They embrace a flexible approach to work. Want to work a couple of days a week from home? Fine, no questions asked.
And if your current job lacks purpose, guess what? Your work here will help future generations get access to clean, running water every day.
**What you’ll bring to this role**:
There are a few things that we’ll look for on your CV. Ideally, you’ll have a tertiary qualification or a degree in an ICT related field.
You’ll have considerable experience delivering cyber security projects and have strong customer service and stakeholder engagement skills.
On top of this, you’ll also have considerable exposure to business planning and procurement processes. Throw in your experience with planning, design, acquisition, or operational delivery of cyber security projects, and you’re good to go.

As part of the recruitment process you will be required to complete Pre-Employment screening which may include a medical, qualification check police clearance and Australian working rights check.
**_We reserve the right to withdraw this ad prior to the closing date._**
