This New Service Leader position will be reporting into the New Service Director and will have a crucial role in ensuring that our Early Learning Services are delivered punctually, within budget, and up to our high-quality standards.
This is a rare and unique opportunity for an experienced Early Childhood Education professional to step into a new area while continuing to fully embrace Nido's vision and values. As the New Service Leader, you will have the exciting responsibility of supporting and shaping the success of the crucial first year of a Service’s operation.

**What you will be responsible for**:
Project Lead
- Lead weekly meetings with project updates and identity risks / roadblocks.
- Work closely with the Interior Architect to design layout and interior fit out & furniture schedule for each Service.
- Be a brand advocate to ensure consistency across each new service, onboarding experience, rituals, look and feel, expectations.
- Lead the coordination of ordering and delivery for internal resources, furniture & whitegoods.
- Lead a committee of key stakeholders to evolve the Nido design internal, external, furniture, resources.
- Work closely with the New Service Director, operations and other relevant functions on process improvements
- Continually refine and standardise the onboarding of each new service to ensure the process is clear and consistent.
- Manage and optimise the CAPEX budget and approvals.
- Support ESM and PQL in monitoring the wages budget - workforce planning.
- Lead the fit out of resources, furniture, and equipment allowing on-site teams to play an active role in setting up and taking ownership of their service at the earliest opportunity.
- Weekly visits during fit out and for the first 4 weeks after service approval. Then once a month visits to 6 months and 12 monthly visit for end of DLP inspection
- Ensure the effective induction and handover of each new service to Operations.
- Ensure licensing is obtained for each Service.
- Lead the effective oversight of Visits & Enrolments for each Service and attend Open events and Twilight tours.
- Coordinate content of induction weeks in conjunction with the ESM and PQL.
- Support new service ESM with compliance, systems and tools.
- Support the creation of new documents & guides to improve the onboarding experience.
- Ensure all new Educators & Leaders understand the Nido experience.
- Support the PQL & ESM to ensure each new Service has recruited and onboarded both critical roles & educator roles on time and within budget.
