**Real Estate Team**

The Real Estate practice at this top-tier law firm is widely regarded as being one of the strongest practices in the country.

Within the group, they have market-leading practitioners advising blue-chip clients on all areas of real estate activity including acquisition, sales, construction and development, direct and indirect investments, planning and joint venture arrangements.

**Position Description**

Given increasing demand for their expertise, the property practice team is looking for a high performing lawyer to join their team. On offer is the opportunity to work with a diverse client base with a particular focus on the hotel and leisure industry.

You will report into and be supervised by two of Australia's leading real estate practitioners whilst having exposure to the wider group. You would work on transactions involving:

- leasing;
- land and building acquisition;
- disposals;
- subdivision and development work;
- joint venture and fund investments; and
- relevant regulatory matters.

**Requirements**:
You will have between
**1-4 years'** experience in property from a notable practice or in-house environment. In addition, you will have:

- strong communication skills, both written and verbal;
- robust approach to working within a fast paced environment;
- excellent drafting skills;
- effective ability to negotiate contracts for sale and commercial leases;
- a team orientated focus with an ability to work independently;
- skills in conducting negotiations on buildings/land acquisition; and
- a proactive approach to building strong client relationships.
