**Equipment Repair Technician**

**The Opportunity**:
We are looking for an experienced and dependable repair technician to join our maintenance team on permanent full-time basis. In this role, you will service, maintain, and repair a wide range of small-engine equipment that supports our field operations. If you have a hands-on mechanical background, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to safety, this is an excellent opportunity to secure a stable role within a collaborative, safety-focused team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Diagnose, service, and repair a range of small petrol and diesel engines.
- Maintain and repair equipment including high-pressure water jetters, pumps, generators, and power tools.
- Perform scheduled servicing, inspections, and preventative maintenance in line with manufacturer standards.
- Ensure all equipment meets safety and operational compliance requirements.
- Maintain accurate service records and report equipment status to management.
- Contribute to broader workshop and fleet maintenance tasks as required.
- Promote and adhere to safe work practices and OH&S regulations.

**About You**:

- Practical repair experience.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Knowledge of workshop safety standards and procedures.
- A team player with good communication skills.
- Current driver’s licence (HR preferred but not essential).
- Reliable, self-motivated, and detail focused.
- Additional certifications (Test & Tag, Fire Extinguisher Inspection & Testing) highly regarded but not essential.
- Experience as a mechanic highly regarded but not essential
