The Role

We require Qualified Experienced Technicianto join our ever-growingBayswater Jayco Dealership. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday to Friday with the availability of a Saturday as per the roster.  We pride ourselves on developing a career for our team members and not just a job. Main duties for this position will be but not limited to:

• Bayswater Jayco is looking for an enthusiastic and skilled person to work on our full range of new and second hand caravans and campers and motorhomes.
• The work varies from routine servicing, cabinetry work, resealing of roofs, fitting of accessories and 12v electrical system repairs and insurance repairs.
• The ideal candidate is motivated to learn, has the ability to fault find and carry out repairs, and is passionate about the caravan and leisure industry.
• Must have a can-do attitude with a strong work ethic, be reliable and punctual and have a current driver's license
• They will need to maintain a safe clean and organized work environment and be a team player.
• Ongoing in-house and manufacturer training and development will be provided.
• This position is for long-term employment and will have the opportunity for career development.

To be considered for this position you will possess the following:

• Full Victorian driver's licence
• Previous experience servicing and repairing recreational vehicles
• High attention to detail and ability to read and understand instructions
• Be physically fit
• Prior diagnostic and fault-finding experience will be advantageous

The right candidate will be a mature minded and competent technician with proven general service and repair experience, good knowledge in recreational vehicles and a strong customer service focus. Have excellent communication and problem-solving skills and be able to work unsupervised and in a team environment.
