We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Diesel Mechanic/Crane Service Technician to join our team in Bayswater. This role involves working with Mobile Cranes, Crane Trucks, hydraulics and can include on-site training for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct maintenance and repairs on cranes, crane trucks, and related equipment, including hydraulics.
  • Breakdowns & onsite repairs
  • Crane servicing
  • Perform diagnostic tests and troubleshoot issues.
  • Ensure all equipment is in safe working condition.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum - cert III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent trade certificate.
  • Experience in a mechanical or technical role.
  • Experience working on mobile cranes preferred, but not essential.
  • Experience working on prime movers, heavy vehicle trailers & Light Vehicles.
  • Current Truck License (preferred, but not essential).
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Welding experience or the desire to learn is beneficial.
