**Position description**:
We seek an enthusiastic Health Professional (Technical Officer) to join our Central Automated Laboratory in Macquarie Park**.** You will be an essential team member, and your responsibilities will include the following:

- Overseeing the front-end specimen reception area for the GLP Track and ensuring specimens are processed with due care
- Maintaining and operating laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Adhering to standard laboratory protocols and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborating with the team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality results.
- Troubleshoot equipment and technical issues as they arise

- Graduated with Diploma of Laboratory Technology (Specialising in Pathology Testing) or a recognised degree.
- Open to working rostered full time hours across:

- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 5pm to 1am
- Saturday from 1pm to 9pm
- Excellent attention to detail and good time management skills.
- Team player with the ability to work unsupervised
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
