**About the company**:
Little Big Sport runs fun junior soccer programs at kindergartens, childcare centres and schools throughout the Gold Coast and Northern NSW, with over 2500 weekly participants between the ages of 2.5-12 years old.

We are fully established on the Gold Coast & Northern Rivers, boasting to be the biggest private soccer coaching provider in the region.

Little Big Sport's mission is to provide all young children the opportunities to enjoy sport and develop a positive attitude to a healthy lifestyle in a fun, safe environment.

**We are looking for an enthusiastic coach who have a passion for sport and working with children to join our team. The job details, salary and hours are outlined below.**

**- Head Coach -**

This position is perfect for someone with a soccer coaching background and experience & passion for working with children.
- Organising session plans, equipment and coach schedules
- Running weekly coaching programs at childcare centres and kindergartens (2.5-5 year olds)
- Running programs alongside other coaches for our after school & weekend programs (2.5-12 year olds)
- Training new coaches
- Distributing Little Big Sport merchandise to players
- Marketing and administration work as required

- **What we offer**:_

**$54K + Super. Salary is based on qualifications and experience.**

Initial and ongoing training of our Little Big Sport programs, as well as all the equipment and uniforms are provided.
- **What you need**:_
**The following criteria are essential**:

- Experience coaching soccer to 2.5 -12 year old children (minimum 3 years experience)
- Soccer coaching qualification
- Management experience
- Working with children check
- First Aid certificate
- Experience in session planning and ability to train other coaches
- Own reliable transport (or ability to drive our company vehicle which is a manual)
- Excellent communicator, friendly, positive and approachable
- Enthusiastic
- Ability to use initiative & work independently
- Must be available 8:30-5pm Mon-Fri and Saturday mornings until midday
- Please note that you would be working with very young children so entertainment and providing enjoyment plays a very large role in these positions._

**This position requires a dedicated individual who can be committed to full-time hours.**

**Salary**: From $54,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Fixed shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Gold Coast QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Sports coaching: 2 years (required)
- working with children: 3 years (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
