About the company:

Little Big Sport runs fun junior soccer programs at kindergartens, childcare centres and schools throughout the Gold Coast and Northern NSW, with over 2500 weekly participants between the ages of years old.

We are fully established on the Gold Coast & Northern Rivers, boasting to be the biggest private soccer coaching provider in the region.

Little Big Sport's mission is to provide all young children the opportunities to enjoy sport and develop a positive attitude to a healthy lifestyle in a fun, safe environment.

We require enthusiastic coaches who have a passion for sport and working with children to join our team. We have multiple casual positions, as well as a full-time position available. The job details, salary and hours are outlined below.

- Children's lead soccer coach -

Exciting opportunities exist for Lead Coaches to join our Little Big Sport team. The successful candidate will run our soccer programs for 2.5-5 year olds at kindergartens and childcare centres, and for year olds at our after school & weekend venues. Driving is required, so access to a reliable vehicle is essential.

This position is perfect for someone with a sporting background and experience working with children. Also suits uni students & those with another job who want to fill their mornings or afternoons. For the right applicant there is the possibility of a full time or part time position with additional roles, after a probationary period. We are interested to hear from individuals who can commit to any amount of time per week, whether it's 5 hours or 30 hours

The successful candidate would communicate with our head office and be responsible for:

• Following our session plans and running weekly coaching programs at childcare centres and kindergartens year olds)
• Running programs alongside other coaches for our after school & weekend programs year olds)
• Distributing Little Big Sport merchandise to players

What we offer:

$30-$45 per hour + super + bonus potential.

Schedule of work is mostly mornings between 9am & 12pm, Mon-Fri, with some afternoon work and Saturday morning work. Up to 25 hours are available, depending on the applicant's availability.

Can work around other work and Uni commitments, but would need to be able to commit to the schedule once fixed.

Initial and ongoing training of our Little Big Sport programs, as well as all the equipment and uniforms are provided.

What you need:

The following criteria are essential:

• Min 2 years experience working with young children year olds)
• Working with children check, or willing to obtain
• Enthusiastic & approachable
• Own reliable transport
• Excellent communicator
• Ability to use initiative & work independently
• Previous soccer playing or coaching experience (level of expertise required)
• Right to work in Australia with appropriate visa or citizenship status

The following criteria are desirable:

• Sports coaching qualification

• First Aid certificate, or willing to obtain.

Please note that you would be working with very young children so entertainment and providing enjoyment plays a very large role in these positions.

These positions require dedicated individuals who can be committed to a fixed, weekly schedule.

• Gold Coast QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• Sports coaching: 2 years (Preferred)
• working with children: 3 years (Preferred)
