**TEN Recruitment** is working closely with one of Australia’s most reputable mining contractors with an exciting opportunity for a devoted

Reporting directly to the Mine Foreman, you will form an integral part of the underground team and be responsible for providing health and safety advice to the operational departments of the site.

**Your responsibilities may include**:

- Drive and ensure compliance with the Work Health Safety regulations and established workplace policies and procedures.
- Provide support in the administration of on-site drug and alcohol testing.
- Conduct and provide assistance with HSE meetings, incident investigations and equipment and work practice safety inspections.
- Engage and contribute to high level incident investigations, preparing incident reports as required.
- Conduct and facilitate risk management procedures for the site.
- Update and maintain the HSEQ and training management systems to ensure records are accurate and up to date.
- Accurate data entry, safety and training administration.
- Drive the implementation of safety procedures, strategies, systems and initiatives on site.
- Support the operational departments by providing an extremely high level of safety and health advice.

- 3+ years’ experience in similar position in an underground environment.
- Proven experience in HSEQ management systems.
- Holds a Certificate IV in Work, Health and Safety.
- Holds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE401160).
- Qualifications in incident investigation such as ICAM.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Mines Safety Inspection Act.
- Hold a current C class WA drivers license.
- Exceptional organisation and prioritisation skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communications.
- Has a safety-first mindset and a passion for health, safety, environment and community.
- Strong leadership capabilities.
