**Your new role**:
We are currently looking for an experienced Area Manager to lead the operational service delivery. This will involve leadership and management of the North regions (including Redcliffe, Sunshine Coast and Bundaberg), NDIS Services, and a Redcliffe-based Housing program, to promote our organisational strategic direction and meet customer requirements.

Reporting to the GM Service Delivery, you will be accountable for managing and establishing the Open Minds brand, enhancing our reputation as a service provider and leading a team of support workers and care leaders to enhance the quality of life for our clients.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement appropriate strategies for service delivery and drive business growth
- Ensure services meet service delivery targets/agreements, including any requirements for corrective action and reporting
- Maintain Open Minds’ quality and safety standards placing it at the forefront of all decision making.
- Establish and sustain external stakeholder networks and connections to support quality service delivery, strategic initiatives and growth
- Lead and motivate team members, driving a performance culture
- Plan and manage required resourcing
- Manage or escalate risks as appropriate, undertake any necessary corrective action
- Meet required financial targets and provide the necessary business information to justify results

***About you**:

- A relevant tertiary qualification and/or equivalent experience of a fully proficient professional
- 3+ years’ experience at a management level in Mental Health Sector, Disability Sector and/or Human Services
- Knowledge of the Northern Brisbane and Bundaberg market and its key stakeholders to support business development and the growth of both brands
- Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated experience in managing and working to budgets
- Knowledge of the Recovery Oriented or Strengths based service frameworks for Mental Health and/or Disability
- Understanding of the principles and governing standards of the Disability Services Act (Qld 2006) and the National Mental Health Standards, Restrictive Practices, and the NDIS Standards
