***The Opportunity**
We are looking for a full-time Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Slade Pharmacy Auchenflower, located inside the Wesley Specialist Centre. This is an exciting opportunity to partner with healthcare professionals, gain invaluable hospital experience, and deliver optimum patient-centred care and pharmacy operations.

Situated next to Auchenflower Train Station, across from The Wesley Hospital, the location has convenient access to public transport.

**About the Role**
As a Pharmacy Technician, your responsibilities include:

- Dispensing medications
- Counselling patients on over-the-counter medicines
- Learn to mix cancer therapies in a drug safety cabinet or using a closed-system safety device
- Assist with customer and clinic queries
- Provide administrative duties and support
- Process orders and manage inventory

- This is a full-time position, offering 76 hours per fortnight. Shifts are scheduled between 7am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. Once fully trained, Pharmacy Technicians will participate in an on-call rotation, covering 1 in every 5 weekends and public holidays._

**About You**
- Be committed to providing patient-centred care
- Dispensing experience in an Australian based hospital or community pharmacy
- Be able to address patient needs with confidentiality, sensitivity and professionalism
- Have a high attention to detail
- The ability to work in a team environment

- Preferred _Requirements:

- Dispensary Technician Certificate or equivalent as recognised by the Pharmacy Board of Australia
